PAST SIMPLE

   PAST SIMPLE TENSE.

Put the verbs into the simple past:

  1. Last year I (go)  to England on holiday.
  2. It (be)  fantastic.
  3. I (visit)  lots of interesting places. I (be)  with two friends of mine .
  4. In the mornings we (walk)  in the streets of London.
  5. In the evenings we (go)  to pubs.

                                                          PAST SIMPLE 

The simple past expresses an action in the past taking place once, never, several times. It can also be used for actions taking place one after another or in the middle of another action.

6. They can be green, red or white. We use them in lots of recipes. They're very healthy.
7. It's very sweet. A lot of people put it in coffee. You use ir when you make a cake.
8. They help foods taste more interesting. They can be a lot of different colours and tastes.
9. It's a type of cereal. It's a very important ingredient in Chinese and Indian food and in paella.
10. it's white and a little bit of it  makes food taste better. You put it on the table.

Adjectives with Irregular Forms

Some adjectives have irregular forms when made into comparative or superlative adjectives. They do not ads an "er" or "est" and they don't add the words more or most. In fact, in some cases, a whole new word is used.
